Our aim is to provide all students with a demanding and equitable curriculum, which is both academic and creative that not only enables them to achieve 1st rate qualifications but also develops in each young person the characteristics to succeed in all aspects of life, by building ambition, pride, resilience, and respect in all learning, experiences, and opportunities provided by the Academy. Ensuring students acquire substantive, disciplinary and hinterland knowledge and remember more with extended deliberate practice that is well planned, so that they can learn more complex content and apply the skills and understanding they have gained.
Enabling all students to become confident and resilient while also developing their creativity and talents to the full.
A rich learning experience is enhanced through the creative delivery of literacy, oracy, numeracy, and cultural enrichment.
