We have experienced a number of incidents recently regarding students receiving anonymous abuse through social networking websites. Facebook and Twitter require that users of their websites provide their real names. Other websites, however, allow users to ask questions anonymously.

 

It is extremely important that parents monitor all internet activity at home. Social networking websites are blocked on the Academy network. Please be aware that students are still able to access any website using data via their mobile phones.
