Massive investment Unveiled in secondary education in Witham

The first major instalment of a massive £50million investment in secondary education in Witham has been officially opened at Maltings Academy in Spinks Lane on Tuesday 11 October by Schools Commissioner, Dr Elizabeth Sidwell CBE.

It has been a hectic start to the year: moving into a brand new £25 million building is exciting but it’s like moving house – great, but hard work. I would like to take this opportunity to thank both the staff and the students for their patience as we embed ourselves into new ways of working.

We have a wonderful opportunity for new beginnings and I would like to remind everyone, as Principal, that my expectations are:
