Homework Timetable

In response to your comments, the homework policy and timetable is now available to view and download from the website. You will find it in the Teaching and Learning section by clicking here.

May/June 2013 Exam Timetable

You can download a copy of the May/June 2013 exam timetable here (PDF). This timetable includes all GCE (A Level) and GCSE exams.

Summer Term Bus Passes

Summer Term First Essex Bus passes, issued by Maltings Academy, have been posted home this week. If you have ordered but do not receive your pass by Friday 22 March, please contact the Finance Dept on ext 1204 or jholroyd@maltingsacademy.org.

Please note: This arrangement does not apply to travel passes issued by Essex County Council.

End of Term Early Closure

As usual, the Academy will be closing early on the last day of term, Thursday 28 March 2013. Students will be leaving at the end of period 4 (1:10pm). Food will be available on this day at lunchtime to students who are eligible for FSM; all other students are encouraged to buy their food and snacks at morning break.

The companies who are booked to transport students to and from Maltings Academy have been notified of the early finish.

Students are due back into the Academy on Monday 15 April 2013 at 8:30am (Week A).

Ofsted Inspection – 5 March and 6 March 2013

I have been informed today that we are being inspected by Ofsted tomorrow, Tuesday 5 March and Wednesday 6 March 2013. If you would like to leave any feedback regarding the Academy you can do so by visiting the Ofsted’s Parent View website http://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/
