Specialism Projects

Maltings Academy has made every effort to further develop the education of the students through the strategic planning of the specialisms.  The principle behind the specialisms is to provide new and innovative opportunities for the students, that otherwise may not have happened.

The main project at present is the running of a sports tour to South Africa in the summer holidays 2009.  At the end of July 26 students and 4 staff will be travelling to South Africa on a two week cultural sports tour.  The student will visit several places of interest and play 4 fixtures against local sides.  The key focus of the tour is to give the students an experience of a culture vastly different to their own and to participate in some high level sporting events.
