On Monday 8th December 2008 Saskia Clark made a presentation to a group of Maltings Academy students about Olympic dreams and experiences. Saskia is a member of Team GB who competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. She gave a valuable insight in to the training and preparation needed to be an Olympian. This was a real treat for the students, as they got a rare insight into the world of a professional athlete. Saskia will soon be training for the 2012 games which are to be held in London. Maltings Academy wishes her the best of luck for the future and for a “Gold Medal!
