We Have Made Our Best Better

Since its inception, Maltings Academy is proud to announce our best examination results.

Once again, we are celebrating the results achieved by students in the summer examinations.  The standard of education provided by the Academy for the students of Witham and surrounding areas is being continually raised.  This is the result of the hard work of the students and staff at the Academy.  94% of Year 11 students achieved five or more GCSEs, an improvement of 11% upon last year. The percentage for whom this included English and mathematics was 51%, up by 8% on 2012.

Both core subjects, English and maths improved the percentage achieving ‘A*’-‘C’ grades with English showing a 10% rise and maths, going up by 8%.

97% of all students achieved at least five GCSE qualifications.

Outstanding results were achieved in the following subjects.

Personal Finance
Information Communication Technology
Music
Media Studies
Science

100% of students gained a grade ‘C’ or higher
