Lettings

Maltings Academy is now available to offer its facilities for external lettings. The academy site is usually available for use most evenings from 6pm until 10pm and all day at the weekends. If you would like to enquire about making a booking please contact Mrs Jo Holroyd at the academy on (01376) 512911 ext 1204.

The site has extensive facilities including:

• A main hall with a seating capacity for over 300 people, over raised seating and on the floor
• A Sportshall with sprung floor and with dividing and cricket nets (glass fronted viewing area)
• A specific drama studio with full lighting rig
• A multi-purpose activity room with sprung floor and 25 spinning bikes
• A comprehensive library including ICT facilities
• A conference room with a capacity to comfortably seat 16
• A fully functioning restaurant with seating for over 250 people
• 21 general purpose teaching rooms
• 8 dedicated ICT suites (both Microsoft and Apple Mac)
• 2 music teaching rooms (with Apple Mac computers)
• 5 music practice rooms and recording studio
• 7 specific science laboratories
• 2 hair and beauty salons
• 3 design and technology laboratories
• A fully equipped food technology laboratory
• 3 art specific teaching rooms
• Changing facilities in close proximity to the Sportshall
• Multiple toilet facilities on all floors

All of the teaching areas are equipped with interactive whiteboards and some ICT provision.
