GSCE Results 2011

GCSE results were published today and at Maltings Academy we are again celebrating a pleasing set of examination results. This is excellent news, demonstrating clearly that the academy is driving up educational standards for students in Witham. The results overall show further improvements compared with 2010. Overall the percentage of students with 5 or more A*-C grades was up to 85%, compared with 83% last year. This figure including English and Maths was this year at 42%. The percentage of students with 5 or more A*-G grades was 97% up 2 points on 2010 and 100% of students gained at least one GCSE pass, which is an outstanding achievement and this figure was up from 99% a year ago.
